Happy Single Awareness Day!

It's that time of year when the hearts come out and chocolate is consumed. You are amazing and yet that special someone that you know is out there hasn't rang your doorbell yet. Or maybe the doorbell rang you made the decision not to answer it. Either way Valentine Day is about bravery and maybe a tiny bit about love.

According to the History Channel, "The Catholic Church recognizes at least three different saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of whom were martyred. One legend contends that Valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine’s actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death."

St. Valentine was brave! We should all celebrate his bravery. I am not sure why that celebration wasn't seen as commercially successful and February 14th morphed into a love day.

Do you know that wonderful person that is brave and single? Valentine's Day should be celebrated by all. Here is a hug for that single person in your life.

Send with chocolate!
